Who We Are
Black River Construction was founded in 2016 by John Springer with a commitment to quality craftsmanship, integrity, and hands-on service. John’s experience in construction began early, working alongside his father starting in high school. That foundation shaped his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and practical knowledge that still guide every project today.
A proud United States Marine, John served during the Iraq War, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and accountability that define how he runs his business. Those values carry through in every build—doing the job right, standing behind the work, and treating clients with honesty and respect.
John is married to Billie Ann Springer, and together they are raising their two sons, Aiden and Shane. As a family, they are active members of Grace Crossing Baptist Church, and their faith plays a central role in both their personal lives and the way they serve others.
